So, Enzo appears to have acquired a niece.

Not the flying one. The one with the pointy ears, and her uncle's eyes, and a permanent one-dog entourage

Clementine had been minding her own business when she passes by and sees Enzo with a baby. And since she has no idea how people of his world reproduce, she has to ask.

"....Do I owe you a shower gift?"

Teasing Enzo: it never goes out of style.

Enzo does blush a bit, but keeps control.

"You'd be a little late." The kid's a year old or so. "This is my niece, Analog. Ana, this is Clementine. She's a bad influence, don't listen to anything she says."

Ana leans to get a better look at Clementine. "Like Daddy?" she says eagerly.

Clem laughs. "Hey, I don't know how you guys bone so I made a wild leap." Clem leans over so Ana can better see her. And snickers at the question.

"Clem!" Enzo says urgently, quietly but not bothering to actually whisper. "Ana takes after her mother. That means she learns really fast, and hears everything."

"Bone!" Ana declares cheerfully.

Enzo gives Clem a Look of I believe this proves my point.

Bowing to the universe's message

And there's a hacker. Not the one who briefly intersected or intercepted Ana last night; the one from Userspace whom Enzo hasn't seen in a couple of whiles. "Hey, sprout," he says. "Or do we need to start calling you Beanstalk?" He notices the entourage and gives it a wary "Hi, Frisket." Then he notices the bundle. "And this must be AndrAIa 2.0. Hi there!" That last is addressed to the actual baby.

[Slowtime will probably be instant and definitely last until Thursday night at least, but I figure Noca had the right of it, especially given how many yonks it's been since this guy had a tag.]

"Dude, Hiro! It's been forever!" Enzo grins and gives as much of a wave as he can with his hands full of yearling sprite. "Maybe, but you'd have to run that by AndrAIa."

"Hello," says Ana, curiously. Frisket gives Hiro a cordial growl.

After much poking...

"I'll have to keep an eye out for her, then." To Ana, he adds, "I'm your Uncle Hiro. You've never heard of me, but that's okay."

'Bout dang time.

Enzo reacted positively to him, and that's good enough for her! "Unca!" she cries happily and reaches for him. (Matrices are totally at home with honorary extended family.)

Fry is eying the baby with more caution than the dog.

"Don't go near the dog." Guppy says, coming up behind him with Coral.

"Oh, don't worry, Frisket loves kids," Enzo says happily, while the dog in question is curling his lip pointedly at Guppy.

There's a gold tooth under there. It's probably better not to ask.

"Frisket!" yells Ana, reaching down toward the dog. Enzo smiles fondly and bends down to let her sit astride him.

Fry doesn't try to touch the dog, not because he's scared, but because it's red and doesn't look terribly pleasant.

"Who's this?" Guppy asks, looking at Ana, and holding Coral's hand so that she doesn't touch the dog.

"This is Analog. Mairi's cousin. Ana, this is Guppy, and that's Fry, and that's Coral."

Ana grins excitedly from her dog-back perch. "Fish!" she hollers, waving. "Fish fish fish!"
