Sam smiles as he walks in. Having a tux on, he was coming back from Hawaii and when he walks to the bar to thank her for getting them there he sees the note. Okay he can do Happy hour. Why is he in his tux? He wishes he could change but that just isn’t a choice right now. Getting the pen he does the special board.

Nightly Specials.

Clementine leans up and back, kissing his neck. "Happy birthday, by the way." She actually knows when his birthday is - they have indeed come a long way.

He smiles and wraps his arm around her resting his hand on her hip. "Thank you Doll, I guess we're this a working birthday."

"It could be worse. You could be working-working. Playing with booze is probably an extension of this vacation for you." She bends over to get a beer. Slowly. She's still got a lot of showgirl in her.

Hand moves from hip to her ass, as he watches her."Yeah, well true but it's not as much fun as sitting on the beach with you."

Or the hotel room...

Look.

Vampire.

Or, 'goth-makeup pale girl' for the one who did not meet her yet.

Either way, she slips onto a seat, gazing at nothing. Entertained with shards of a broken mind.

Hers.

Ohhh, Clem remembers her.

Ha ha.

This is going to be fun.

(She hasn't explained her to Sam yet)

"Well, hi there. What can I get you?"

She takes... a moment to focus, and does so with a faint smile to Clem. "Vodka. And that bottled lie."

TruBlood, right...

"Gotcha," she turns to mix everything, elbowing Sam in the side. "This is Sam. Sam Axe. This is..." she goes blank. Christ, she didn't even get her name.

"Hey, Clem. Undercover, or off duty?" Knox is a rather well-worn button-down shirt and looks like a beer is in order.

"Off duty," she smirks. "How's it going? And what can I get you?"

"It goes well, more or less. And you can surprise me with a domestic beer that isn't from Coors or Bud." Even he has his limits. "How're you?"

"Gotcha," She shouts over her shoulder, "SAM. Can you get me something good for this guy?" She turns back and smirks. "Very well. Veerrry well. I've been in Hawaii, man, it doesn't get better."

"Is this where we have to guess where you're from in order to get a beer?"

He doesn't sound annoyed, so much as already bored of not having a drink. And he's pulling an ashtray towards him, his pack of cigarettes already out on the bar.

Sam then nods. "Yeah or just ask, I'm from the US any thing made in it counts. Have a pick or tenders choice?"

Lawton doesn't shrug, because shrugging would be too much effort, apparently, and he's using that effort to light up.

"Whatever, man. As long as it's frosty."

"Kept at thirty three degrees and served in a frosted mug doesn't get much better."

He draws as Miller High Life for the man and sets it down. "If you don't like it I'll keep trying till you do."

Grey hair and a number of facial scars aside, the short (5'3") Korean-looking girl in the dark green jumpsuit looks like she's about twenty at most as she peers up at the board. "Okay," she says hesitantly, "I think I'm missing something here. What makes beer domestic? Are the plants involved grown on farms instead of gathered in the wild or something?"

"Means it ain't been imported," Lawton chiimes in from down the bar.

"This one's on me."

"Oh! Okay," says Ellen, and then: "Hi, Floyd. It's good to see you. How've you been?"

He glances at his lighter for a moment, as if that might have the answer.

"Not dead yet," he decides. "So I guess you'd say I've been just peachy. Yourself?"
