Hyde likes to sit down and join people out of the blue. Hey, it's in canon.
He pulls out a chair across from Lucas. "Hey, man." His voice is a bit strained with smoke and sleep.

Hyde's in the process of pulling his back of Marlboro reds and his lighter out of his jeans. Takes a little bit, since he's effectively sitting on them.
