"Oh my god food," Duo says. Looks like someone has already made his decision about what's most relevant.

"I'm gonna-" he glances at the others. "Yeah, I'm thinking food all around. Pizza?" He's already dumping his bag at a table and leaning toward the bar. He can't think why they wouldn't want to eat.

"Spaghetti," X says, half-turning to follow Duo's progress with her eyes.

"You will need help carrying things?"

She is not sure he has enough hands. And the adrenaline is sure to wear off soon.

"Sure."

To pizza. Or spaghetti. Or whatever.

Trowa is not picky. And is hungry, now that there's leisure to notice; he'll be hungrier once the adrenaline in his system drops a little more, he knows.

"Italian combo plate special," Duo says. "And they have trays." He marches off toward the bar and proceeds to negotiate the amount of food he urgently requires. His gestures are pretty expansive.

Sam looks up and stands up, X looks like she's been burned and he nods to Trowa who looks familiar,

"What happened, do you need any help?"

Duo, still a little high on battle nerves, totally does not step in front of the other two. But he does twitch a little like he wants to.

"Naaah, man," he says, exaggeratedly relaxed. "Unless you wanna maybe pull out a chair or two."

"You can," X says, looking up at him.

Beat.

"Sit."

This pause is slightly longer.

"If you want to."

And then --

"Hello."

Trowa doesn't say anything, but he nods slightly in greeting.

Hello there, inquisitive guy he met twice! (Three times, but he didn't remember Sameth's face well enough from that childhood presumed-dream to make the connection later.)

Inquisitive mechanically-minded guy from a world with limited computer technology, etc etc, but we'll take the mental notes and occasional automatic people-watching as read.
