Ellen's not an engineer, never was, but she's learned by now to take care of all her things as best she possibly can. She's not always going to be in the vicinity of Scribes, after all. That's some serious looking armour Ellen's got spread out on that table. It makes Ellen look younger in comparison. Shulkie's pretty sure that Ellen's under twenty-five anyway, but still - it gives her pause.

"Hello again, Ellen." Shulkie's got a huge glass of lemonade with her and her trusty Fantastic Four bike messenger bag. It might look odd that she's in costume and carrying a messenger bag, but the messenger bag is full of her laptop and other goodies.

Ellen glances up and smiles. "Oh- hello, Ms.- Jen, right? I'm supposed to use Jen?" she says. "Good to see you. How have you been?"

"Yes, just Jen." She smiles warmly. "I've been better, but today is a good day. Look at all this!" She gestures towards the armour with a sweeping hand. "Remind me to tell you sometime about a man named Tony Stark and his love affair with his armour. Mind if I join you?"

"Sure, go ahead," Ellen says. "Just don't spill anything and we're good. It's all in working order and clean for once and it takes forever to get crud out of the contacts once it's in there, you know?"

If Jen expects to see anything like a modern circuit board or microchip in sight she's in for a bad surprise. This, right here, is one of the finer examples of what really obsessive technologists can do with vacuum tubes and super duper high tech state of the art transistors.
