Okay, more out than in.
But it's something.
And right now, he's in! He's staring intently at Sam staring at the door, because grim focus has to be witnessed to be properly dramatic.

Be fair, though, he hasn't seen that thing in about two years. It has to be something special for him not to be paying attention to Jack.

But seriously, it's uncommon enough that Jack eventually breaks off his staring in order to slide closer along the bar; eyes following Sam's, then tracking back to his friend's face.
"Door?" he asks, after a suitable pause.

Sam finally looks at Jack. "Uh. Yeah."
To say he's wanted to leave would be ... something of an understatement.

At this particular moment, he's coming in from out back, breathless from the run that is somewhat less daily than it used to be. He's still in shape for it (better shape than he should be, though he doesn't know that), he just doesn't seem to have time for it quite so often anymore.
He knows, the second he lays eyes on Sam, exactly what's going on. He's done that same stare himself, after all.
After a startled second or two, he makes a beeline in Sam's direction, smiling.
"Hey."

He gets a kiss, right?

"About damn time," he says, with a glance toward the Door.
