"Welcome." There's a woman in a black business suit over there, enjoying a martini. "Have a seat, dear."

"Hmm, you have to keep in mind the people who painted so awful a picture of me where... men. Religious men, to whom every creature that did not fit their draconian view of the world was a monster..." And she toes off a shoe, using that foot to demonstrate her lack of hooves... by running it against Loki's leg.

"I've always preferred the monstrous in attractive forms," she says. "Sure, you can have monsters that look like monsters, or good creatures that look monstrous, but given a choice? Most people wouldn't choose to surround themselves with ugliness."

"I'd say that Lust is my favorite," she says, "with Gluttony and Sloth close behind. But really, it seems unfair to have to choose--they are all wonderful."

"Lust... oh yes, it is the most fun of all. Have you ever noticed how all the sins are simply excessive love of something? Lust is the excessive love of pleasure, gluttony is the excessive love of food and drink..." The Devil laughs. "Even poor, misunderstood Wrath, simply the love of conflict."
