Sure, she's in a bar, and there tend to be people in bars, but having one suddenly be right there next to her, well, it caught her a little off guard.
"Of course you didn't," she says, blinking.

Well, not so much lately, but when she was younger. The downside to being the oldest child.
After a moment, she adds, "Aren't you a little young to be in a bar?"

She's dressed in... well, strange things: the usual stompy boots of course, but also low-riding leather trousers and a lacy bustier. A black button-up shirt with sleeves rolled above elbows, tied just under her bosom; necklace, earrings, multiple finger rings.
"Everything here does."

"Things do, in general," she says. "Ever have a toaster that won't toast right?"

She could say more, but she's seen what happened when Frank insulted the cafe; the last thing she needs is to anger the cafe or wherever this place is.
