Watching Charles come in, looking somewhat -- exhausted?

Not quite exhausted, but Charles is tired, certainly. It looks like he's either forgotten to shave, or just hasn't--either way, it's different as he's normally fairly clean-cut. Few people really get to see the tired man, because it's not what his job entails he put forward to the world.

He does have the presence of mind to nod at the woman watching him over her teacup, and send a smile her way.

"You look a bit tired," Teja says, taking great effort to speak casually, like a person from the future. "Want some tea?"

"I am," he says honestly. "But no thanks on the tea. I'm not quite thirsty yet."
