Dressed up in an interesting costume. No, she does not seem upset by it, but that might be caused by the three boilermakers she had so far.

Botherable, of course.

"Of course I am."

Smug? This cat? Surely you jest!

That makes Jordan laugh gleefully again: hearing a cat voice his smugness is an experience.

"More people need to be as self-confident..." She pets the feline. "Do you have an official caretaker? Oh, of course you do, a handsome, witty cat like you must have a half dozen humans at his beck and call."

"I have no caretaker," says the cat. "I have my share of admirers, certainly, but I belong to no one."

"Oh, I was more thinking a few humans would belong to you." Because she knows cats own people, not the other way around.

"Mmm. No, I don't really care for such things. Humans take so much looking after."

"Oh, that's true: we're a handful..." Jordan shakes head. "It's hard enough for humans to bother with each other."
