The door to the bar opens with a crash. A red haired teenager flies in, headfirst, as though he was thrown. Just inside the door, there are bits and pieces of a paper door. The red haired boy jumps to his feet, only to realize that he's not standing outside Shigure's house. The door closes gently, as though to counteract Kyo's dramatic entrance ( Read more... )

Headache worse? Nah. Though his foot might eventually go to sleep when somecat sits on it, looking up at him with big green eyes.

Yrael is being good and not tackling Kyo with a hug.

White cat, green eyes. Why does that seem important?

Oh, wait a minute!

Yrael, you might want to turn into a bigger animal. That's a pretty fierce hug you're getting right now.

Yrael's already mid-transformation by the time Kyo moves - his ability to stay good is limited, after all. Kyo is most definitely getting just as fierce a hug in return a split-second later, Yrael laughing aloud.

Kyo doesn't care about his ice, or stupid Yuki and teh weird girl in Shigure's house. All he cares about is having his only friend beside his master back.

He might actually be crying a little. It's been a rough time.

The crash prompts some fussing from a nearby baby. Loud noises are not his friend unless he's making them, you see.

Fortunately, his mother is quick with a pacifier and some reassuring hugs and kisses. She picks the child up and has half a mind to scold whoever made the crashing sound that frightened him.

Until she sees who it is.

Mia Ausa would probably be covering her mouth, left open in shock, if she didn't have an armful of baby to hold.

The baby startles Kyo as much as he startled it. He's never really been in close proximity to a baby before.

It gets an awkward look. As does Mia, even after he remembers who she is. How is he supposed to act to someone's mom?

"Um, hi."

That, fortunately, startles her into laughter.

"Hi."

A beat.

"It's been years since I've seen you, Kyo," she says, her face glowing with joy. He was one of her first friends here.

The smile gets a kind of shy one in return. Here, he feels more comfortable, knowing there are people who like him. "Are you doin' okay?"
