Kali's seated on a rafter next to him, eyeing him with barely suppressed amusement.

"'Course it's not," he says, dismissive, and crumples the fortune back into his pocket. "I'll pry my ass off of here if I gotta use a crowbar."

He has stuff to do back home.

She snorts with laughter. "I don't think enough people are that starved for entertainment."

"You'd be surprised!" Just as brightly. "We could always make 'em starved for entertainment first. Shut off the TV, burn out the lights..."

"They might decide to take a more active role, then." She eyes him. "Go trickster-hunting instead."
