Highly belated New Year's presents
Back on New Year's Day or so, River left a lot of presents with Bar.
Her mun is terrible about picking presents, which is why most of them are MYSTERIOUSLY not mentioned. All her friends got one, though! It may or may not have been something they wanted, or had any use for -- odds are pretty good it was edible, unless something else struck her fancy -- but they got one. The only exception is Duo, who got his box of random scraps of machinery from her 'verse on actual Christmas. (This is the benefit of inviting her over for the holiday. And, you know, dating her -- but the invitation is more relevant to her timing here.)
One among them, however, is for Puck: a cat toy, the kind that's covered in sparkly fake fur (with a long sparkly tail) and has a little motor inside to make it vibrate and roll around randomly. It's pink, and smells vaguely of catnip.
