Ray's not really paying attention to the sounds around him. He's gotten fairly good at filtering out extraneous noises ever since he started working with his nephews and one of them came up with the bright idea of forcing the other to concentrate harder by shouting and throwing things during lessons. Still, he does note that someone else is present, and when the drone finishes its pattern Ray turns in the right direction to offer a small salute before switching the saber off.
"Hello, Ray." She waves, stepping closer now that the drone ha been put down. She has to admit, it's a little odd now to hear the hum of a 'saber, without feeling the automatic disdain slung in her direction. "Not a bad pattern."
"Thanks," says Ray. "I've been working on picking up my speed with that one. When it's all just analytical observation instead of sensing what's coming it gets kind of complicated. How've you been?"
