Guppy is at the bar, patiently explaining to his young son Alex (for the fifteenth time) why he cannot have a real life penguin for Christmas.
So far he has tried the reasons:
1. We don't have anything to keep it in.
2. It wouldn't be happy in a house.
3. It wouldn't get on with the cat.
4. It would smell of fish.
5. You still can't have a penguin.
