"I'd be a little surprised if anyone answered yes to that," murmurs a familiar voice from just down the bar. "Hi, Alyx."

"Hi," says Alyx. "What makes you say that?"

Gordon nods towards one of the toys. "Those are movie tie-ins," he says. "Or at least they look like it. There was a movie about those characters when I was in college- Toy Story. About how Andy's toys came to life and walked and talked and interacted when nobody was around."

"Huh." Alyx turns the cowboy doll over in her hands. "Pretty nice workmanship for a movie knockoff..."

"Hiiiiiii, Alyx-lady!" Here's an Ed!

"Arf!" And an Ein!

Alyx may notice that Ed's hair has been combed and trimmed recently. It's still poofy but no longer ill-groomed. And it smells faintly of coconut.

"Hey, Ed!" says Alyx cheerfully. "Nice hair."

"There is a haircut place!" Ed says. "Upstairs! A new haircut place! It is the first haircut place where Ed has ever had her hair cut!"

"Really? I'd think your hair would be longer than that if that was the case."

"Nope," Annabelle replies with a shake of her head. "Although we do seem to have quite a few kids running around the place."

"Well, have you seen a kid playing with either of these?"

They're nice toys. Someone must be very unhappy at having lost them.

She shakes her head again. "I've never seen those toys before," she replies. "Maybe you could put a note on the bulletin board?"

"Maybe if they're still here in a couple of days. It's not like the Lost and Found box is that hard to get to."

She turns the cowboy doll over in her hand and frowns at the ring on its back. "What is...?" She pulls it.

"Thar's a snake in mah boots!" says a slightly wobbly recording of a male voice from the inside of the doll's torso.

"The name's not familiar to me," Sativa says as she stops from passing by, a shredded pair of pants draped over one shoulder (while wearing pants that are more intact).

She gives the Buzz doll an odd look. "Is that supposed to be power armor?" There's only a very tenuous similarity, but then she has a limited pool of things to compare it to.

"I dunno, maybe? It could be just a spacesuit."

Alyx pushes one of the buttons on the toy's chest experimentally.

"♪ ♬ ♪ Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!"

"Space... suit?"

Sativa's is taken back by the doll's exclamation. "...Possessed!"

Or it's got Technology in it. That would be the second guess.

"Y'know, like an astronaut wears? To go up into space? So they won't asphyxiate and die?"

Ellen Park knows what astronauts are, surely Sativa does too, right?
