"It is a bit much, isn't it?" Max asks with a smirk as he stand up. He steps around the table to pull out a chair for her.

After all, if you're going to be ridiculous, you might as well go all the way.

"Go for it," Max laughs as he slides her chair back in and moves back to his seat. He doesn't much care what she decides to do with the things. He almost tossed them himself.

"Glad you could make it." He didn't, quite, say he'd wondered if she would.
