He's by the stairs because someone put it into his head that going near the Bar will make him quite ill

Guppy wasn't concentrating when he was going down the stairs, on account of looking at something in the local paper. As such, he very nearly falls over Jools.

"Hey Jools, what you doing down there?"

"Aaagh!" Jools dives for cover before he realises what's happening.

"Oh, uh. If I go over there, I'll get ill," he says, pointing at the Bar.

"Why?" Guppy asks, confused. He sits down next to Jools.

"Well, that's what that doctor said," Jools says. "The one at the Bar the other night."

Always nice to see someone else who appreciates music. Kate almost missed him as she turned toward the stairs but came around instead.

"Nice piece you got there. How long have you been playing?"

Jools checks his watch.

"About... fifteen minutes."

[nothawkingbird]

She tilted her head at that, "Really? You just got it?"

[ohnoitsjools]

Jools looks down at his guitar. "No, I got this one about... four years ago, I think?"
