It had been a long time since Mina had been in the Bar. On Christmas Day, her door had reappeared, and she had taken the chance to leave, not even risking stopping to say goodbye, or leave a note for any who might wonder what had become of her ( Read more... )

Seras had found her door strangely unlocked today. She stared at it and ran back to her room and reappeared later with her weapon, and wearing her yellow uniform. She wondered if her master was really dead, or it was all a ruse...

"Mina!" she exclaimed as she spotted the woman. Seras is a very happy vampire police girl.

Mina dragged her trunk through the door, straightening up as she heard a yell. She wedged her suitcase in the doorway in the hopes that it'd keep the way open, smiling as she recognised the bouncy figure heading towards her.

"Hello, Seras," she murmured, eyeing her weapon a little warily. "How have you been?"

The sharp little smile faded a little, "Fine."

Some of the scaring on her arms may still be seen, very faint against her pale skin. That and she's not learned to feed yet so from the blood loss a few months ago, she's even more pale than before.

"Do you need help with that?" she asked indicating the trunk.

"Hmm? Oh, no, it's fine." She pulled it out of the way a little, leaving it beside an empty booth for now.

"Take a seat, and I'll be just a moment..." she returned to her room in London, stepping through long enough to pick up her coat and check that she hadn't left anything behind, before stepping back into the bar, picking up her suitcase, and letting the door close behind her.

It remained, for now, and she let out a quiet sigh of relief. Turning back to Sera, she eyed the scars, and her pale skin.

"Are you sure you're quite alright?" She asked softly.

She is a beautiful and elegant woman and Moist notices her enter with a thoughtful smile.

He's in his second best suit and shirtsleeves with a coffee, pastry and a notebook.

She has the look of a woman, who might present some profitable opportunities.

Having bid Seras farewell, Mina is left to her own devices. Enquiring on whether her room is still reserved, she's relieved to find that she won't have to find somewhere new to sleep.

She sits down close to the fire, eyeing her trunk and trying to decide if she feels like moving it upstairs herself. Fortifying herself with a glass of wine sounds like an excellent plan first, however.

Pulling a book from her bag, she looks up to try and attract the attention of a passing waitrat, and instead catches the gentleman's eye. She smiles politely, nodding in greeting before flagging down a waitrat and ordering a glass of red wine. Never let it be said that Mina isn't a traditionalist in some ways.

[ooc: eee, Moist! Yay for PTerry characters!]

He nods to her and smiles, sincere and helpful,

"May I be of any assistance, madam?"

"No, thank you, I'm quite all right," she replies, then pauses, and continues, "unless you particularly wish to move my luggage upstairs - I had planned on enlisting some help from the rats for that." She smiles, not really serious in her suggestion.
