Dean's still looking down at Sam.

"You break anything?"

Panic's for later. Because this? This is comparatively minor.

Unless he broke a rib or something.

"... no, 'm good," he manages, gasping.

"I mean, considering."

"Yeah."

Considering is one word for it.

"And I'd give you a hand up, but it'd probably end up with you catapulting through the window back there, and. Uh. Hell no."

"Yeah, let's just... not do that," he agrees, pushing himself carefully up to a sitting position.

Sam stares at his feet, then looks up at Dean.

"This sucks."

[hear_the_voices]

"Do you need help?"

Anna is totally helpful.

"Hi, Dean.

"Hi, Sam."

"Yeah, maybe you wanna keep a step back, kiddo. Gigantor here's all thumbs today."

Which is kinda accurate!

"But. Uh. Hey, Anna. Thanks."

[hear_the_voices]

Anna steps back, obediently.

"What happened to your thumbs?" she asks Sam, not quite having followed this comment.

"They got clumsy," he explains, pushing himself carefully up to a sitting position.

One hand slips out from under him, but he manages not to go sprawling a second time -- although he does bang his elbow against the floor, sending a spike of pain up along the funny bone.

"F--ouch."

Somebody falls from that height, it's practically enough to send plates rattling.

Mac turns toward the sound -- and half a beat later, she's bolting out of her chair.

"Sam?"

Great.

Just... great.

"'M okay!" he tries to reassure her.

It's likely not as effective as it could be, seeing as how he's still gasping for air.

"You sure?"

She skids to a halt next to him, darting a semi-sheepish look Dean's way and just about as awkward a wave to go with it. Soon after, she's extending the same hand down to Sam to try and help him up.

"Yeah," Dean says, interposing his hand between Mac's and Sam's.

"I'm gonna pull older brother veto on that move. It's not gonna end well."

Again with the catapulting through the window.

Or slamming into Mac and breaking his nose.

Their noses?

A collarbone? Something.

Parker visibly winces as the young man goes sprawling.

It was a pretty spectacular fall.

She does not recognize him, but she does know the person he's with.

"Hey, Dean?" she calls.

"Do you need some help?"

An EMT?

Possibly a crane?

"Nah," Dean says, looking up from contemplating his brother.

"Well. If you've got a pair of shoes in size 'giant' just sitting around, I think those'd be handy."

Because the bare foot on top of everything?

That's just embarrassing.

"Parker's got taste, Sam. Don't worry too much."

For a given value of worry, anyway.

Parker has come over to assess the damage.

"Well, I left my magic carpet bag back in my room, but I bet Bar could hook me up."

Parker looks down at Sam. First at his feet. Then at his face.

"You're...what? A size eleven? Twelve?"

Sam tells her, and tries a wry smile.

"Nice to meet you. And, uh, thanks."

Sameth was thinking about going through the door he came through when the brothers come through, he just gets out of the way when Sam falls and peers at him,

"Did you break anything?"

The only part of him that's kind of recognizable as the older Sameth is the Charter Mark visible under his hair.

"Not yet," he says, very dry.

Sam blinks up at the kid -- and more so at the mark, which looks kinda familiar.

"Uh, have we met?"

"No, what made you fall? Do you need a healer?"

His clothing suits what Sameth would normally wear, linen shirt and good breeches just dirtier.

"Whoa there, kid. Take a breath."

Dean's got a weather eye on him, and not just because of the Charter mark.
