Of course, the problem with watching anyone through a scope is that the sunlight reflects quite nicely from the glass lens.

But when he straightens up again, he lifts his hand as if to wave, and then an overripe strawberry hits the scope with a soft, reddish splash.

Evil Chicken is up a tree, observing. He doesn't want to rouse the suspicion of the forge cats like he did last time. Though... it might be difficult for them to ignore the woman. She doesn't smell human and she has the scent of that giant chicken on her.
"Hello?" the woman greets. "Are you busy right now?"

What she is holding appears to be a sickle attached by a chain to a 7 foot pole. It looks like some odd mutation of the flails farmers used in the middle ages. Well, if they existed in Teja's days, anyway.
"The blade is made of silver, I wasn't sure how to sharpen it, or even if I should."

The smith is standing in front of the door and Sameth gets up his courage and bows to him,
"Hello, sir."

With that in mind, he approaches the forge with a purposeful stride, ever-present black bag in his hand.
"Excuse me--ah, Teja, right? Are you in charge here?"

"And you are a man that goes purposefully about his business, so follow me inside so said business may be attended to. Would you tell me your name? You did not give it, when we spoke about the rogue vampire that you had met, and you did not trust me that I was not on his side."

Pause.
"This is not about money; I would not make you pay for using it. This is about not burning the place down, thereby destroying the work I have done, and that of every other man and woman using the forge. Also, it is about not unleashing foul magic of the kind that would harm those in this place. I am duty bound to protect them."
