Not long after 99's arrival, the door to the Bar opens with a bit of a whoosh, and in comes a certain Starfleet officer. Who quickly sees a very familiar body...er, face.

"Laura...99...hello." It's been a while since he saw her. Since he found out some of the things she'd been hiding. So he wasn't sure what he'd feel when he saw her. But what he's feeling is glad, plain and simple.

"I've been well. I would say you look well, too." Jim doesn't leer. But he does appreciate. "Much better than last time I saw you. The spy game treating you well?" Now he feels a tiny bit awkward. And wonders how much he needs to watch his words.

While she's perfectly used to the stares, she's been back in the game for a couple months now, and that means her guard is up.

It also means certain words and phrases may not be the best to use in public conversation, and her expression briefly reflects that.

"Work," she says, taking care to emphasize the word, "has been very good to me lately. How are things on your end?"
