Bonzo comes down to the Bar to find a check waiting for him.  Only this check is one he owes, not one being paid to him.

The look on his face when he sees the amount due is probably priceless.  For everything else, however, there is not a credit card for him to use.

"Hey Bonzo." Look, it is the Evil Genius. "What's up?"

"Jordan." Glance at the tab. "My bill. It's...a bit higher than I expected."

"Oh, how much higher?" Jordan keeps her tab zeroed, paying every few days at most, so... not worried.

He slides the bill over, grimacing. In his case, it's living expenses for most of a year. Even on a modest income equivalent, in RL terms it probably translates into somewhere in the fifteen to twenty thousand dollar range. There's also the previous year that he somehow dodged the tab for...though that was probably because it was low enough to not really be a collections issue.

"For a long time it wasn't rising, and then...it just started rising again." Pause. "Most of it is room costs, and almost all of the rest is food."
