I'm sitting at the bar, taking a well-deserved break from the latest case--a kidnapping perpetrated by the victim's dad. It's a hard case, and I need a break.

So here I am, nursing a rum and coke, and doing a few word-search puzzles, to work on keeping my mind fresh. I look bored, though.

"Sounds like you think very highly of her." Perhaps he's even in love with her, but I'm not about to judge or pry.

"So--can I get you a drink, or something? I'm about to order another rum and coke."

"Bar, a rum and coke for me, and some honey for my friend here." The drink appears in front of me, but instead of honey, the pixie gets... water.

"Strange..."

"You're certainly welcome." I sip at my drink.

Hey, I've been nursing these pretty steadily. I've got a decent buzz on, but I'm not intoxicated. I trust Bar to shut me off.

"Oh! I'm a changeling. I'm half-fairy, half human." I offer a hand. "My name's Toby."

"Tell me about Narnia," I say. It sounds a bit like Faerie to me, but what do I know.

"You definitely love your home," I say, smiling.

That's tricky.

"Well... technically I have two homes. I love them both, but for very different reasons, and sometimes I get angry at one or the other... but yes, I'd say overall that I love where I live."
