[From here.]

The lake door bursts open, revealing chaos.

"I warned you to keep your distance, mate!" Jack yells. Metal clashes as he brings his sword up to fend off Leonardo, followed by the crash of wood as he promptly upends the nearest table between them.

There is a goddess with a mint julep who is well out of the way when the brawlers enter.

"Oh!"

It's that cute Leo boy! She did like him. And that's ...

Oh.

Oh.

Well. If it isn't Captain Jack Sparrow.

(She knows who she's going to divinely intervene for if it comes down to it.)

Well, now someone's feelings are hurt.

Or would be.

Maybe.

Then again....

And Leo's ego grew twenty sizes that day.

He didn't know why, but oh, did it.

Jack freezes mid-slash, remembering the last time a camera was pointed at him.

"Not good!"

But when nothing else untoward happens, he tosses her a quick grin, then yelps as he ducks the next blow from Leo.

Leo runs up the side wall and slams Jack into on of the rafters.

"This is done," he whispers.

"You started it!"

Jack grins fiercely at him.

"Seems as it's only fair I be the one to say when it's ended, savvy?"

He lets himself fall backward, hooking his boot around the rafter in order to swing himself in a wide circle around, forward, and up. Jack lands on the next rafter over with a thump, then spins to face Leo, sword drawn and pointed.

"Still think this was wise, boy?"

Leo twists about, both swords in offensive positions. He is perfectly still and never breaks eye contact with Jack.

"You ran," Leo reminds him yet again.

"We've both had more than one chance to kill each other tonight. Neither of us want that. Now, we've both over stepped our bounds. Let us both be adults here, apologize to the other patrons, and turn ourselves over to Security."

"Because otherwise, I'm arresting us both."

"'Course I ran. I'm bloody well tired of being blamed for what's come of the lass's bit of fun when it's something what should have been impossible in the first place, and I'm not about to stand and let any more of you lot play at making yourselves feel better about it all by taking it out on me," he snaps.

A beat, and Jack's grin turns truly dangerous. He raises the sword a little higher.

"Are you now. I'd like to see you try."

There is no doubt an abundance of surprised onlookers. Sativa, for one, is unaware of the significance of the ancient, heated rivalry between Pirate and Ninja manifesting itself within these very walls.

By now she's been coming here just about long enough to chalk this up to: Milliways.

(Also this is the greatest thing ever.)

And in one of the booths, Barbossa shakes his head not without amusement and takes a sip of port.

Of course, it's very much like Jack to get himself behind bars at a moment like this.
