[oom: Learning the rules.]Guppy enters from the front, bringing a slightly red-eyed toddler through. He stops to get two orange juices, and passes the beaker cup one down to the kid, who is sucking his thumb and looking upset

Leo falls off the bar and rolls on autopilot.

There are TWO pirates fighting for a moment!

"Your friend smells worse!"

And he is back on his feet, doing a spin in the air with both swords parrying.

CLASH!

Jack's sword crashes hard against Leo's as the pirate takes advantage of the ninja's disorientation to lunge at him.

"Considering as that's the opinion of a feculent codpiece, I'm disinclined to acknowledge it!" he snaps.

"Hardly."

And Leo smiles.

Sntch, sntch, clang, and press. Repeat.

"One should put forth great effort in matters of learning," Leo begins to quote. "One should direct his attention exclusively to the virtues of loyalty and filial piety. Having been born into the house of a warrior, one's intentions should be to grasp the long and the short swords--"

Jack is loosing ground. Leo twists his twin swords around Jack's sword, trapping it. He grins between the V of his swords.

"And to die." And promptly headbutts the pirate.

[pirate_jack]

"Aaah!" His head jerks back as his free hand goes to his hat, making sure it doesn't get knocked away, and then Jack gives Leo a fierce grin.

"Much more better things out there than dying, mate. Sounds to me like you need to get out of the books and find yourself a girl."

With that, he twists his ankle behind Leo's leg and throws his weight sideways, sending the both of them tumbling to the ground.
