There's a Mountie in the bar today, sitting on a stool with is wolf at his side. He's not in uniform just now, and he's a little scruffy, sporting a couple days' growth on his face.

He's still got his hat on though. He's almost never without it.

Fraser orders himself a coffee and then looks down at Diefenbaker who seems to be sniffing in the general direction of the booth in question.

"It's not polite to stare," Fraser says to the wolf.

Pause.

"Well, I'm sure there's a good reason for that, but either way, it costs nothing to be polite."

[maintiens]

Fraser looks at her with a smile. "Well, he's a wolf," he says, which...is not really an answer. "He's just concerned about your hair."
