Iris loses track of time so easily. She really needs to make a better effort at keeping track.

But that doesn't bother her today. Today she's just sitting by the fire, absorbed in her book.

There may be someone perched on the back of her chair, trying to read over her shoulder.

"Don't you know it's rude to read over one's shoulder?" she says with a smile, not looking up from the book.

"Don't you know that I rarely care what others consider rude?" he says, bumping his forehead lightly against her ear and purring.

"Ah. The perfect cat, then," she says with an impish grin, reaching up with a hand to rub behind his ears.

The loud sneezes coming from the pigtailed girl who's bundled up in a blanket by the hearth might be just a touch distracting.

Iris looks up, a concerned look on her fact. "Are you alright, dear?"

"'m fine." She sniffs and wipes her nose on her sleeve. "Just a cold, is all."

"You poor dear. Do you need something to drink? Another blanket?" She looks around for a waitrat.

The green lad wandering by suddenly stops and sniffs the air.

It's fairly unusual for him to smell anything around here, except for his own (or another sprite's) food. He's got nothing yet and he doesn't see any of his family, so he follows his nose.

Smells like... wet candy?

The green catches her eye, like all colors that stand out do. She looks in his direction and smiles. "Hello."

"Hi."

Sniff. Sniff. Sniffffffff.

"Are you a god?"

[colour_girl]

She tilts her head a bit. "You would be correct."

"I'm Iris," she says, holding out a hand to shake.
