As usual, Paul isn't totally prepared for the bar when he arrives. However, as soon as he realizes where the door's opened up to, he props the door open, running back into his houseboat for a split second before returning with a couple of gift bags

At the other end of the bar, there is some surreptitious gift retrieval and a few murmured words with Bar.

A moment later, several candy hearts appear alongside Paul's coffee:

When Kate receives the gift, she breathes a helpless laugh and asks Bar for a pen and a piece of paper.

One good fat joke deserves another.
