Kate's on the porch, watching the moon rise in the sky.

She looks over when the back door opens and offers a smile.

"If you're taking a walk, watch out for bunnies."

"Well, I can tell what your priorities are, he says with a slight smile.

"It's just been an adjustment," she says with a chuckle. "But really, it's a beautiful area. I've never really spent time in the South before, outside of a couple of conferences in Atlanta."

"Yeah, I can see how it'd be a lot different from L.A. But the important thing is that you're happy there, with Bill."

"I am."

She nods, lifting a hand to tuck a stray lock of hair behind one ear.

"I can't keep ignoring L.A., though."

"Yeah, probably not." He shouldn't be ignoring it either, if only to get away from Division, but that's not really the same thing. "But it's the kind of thing you should probably do when you're ready for it."

She nods again.

"It's almost too easy to put everything on hold here, sometimes."

"Especially since time can kind of go by without you noticing it in here."

"It does that, yeah."

She shakes her head slightly, glancing toward the snow-covered grounds lit by the moon.

"I can't believe it'll be spring again here before long."

"I'm not gonna complain about that. I think I've had my fill of snow for a while."

"You and me both," she says with a small smile, rubbing her hands together while her breath fogs in the crisp air.

"Want to head in where it's warm? The hot chocolate's on me."
