Annabelle was going down to the firing range to get some practice in when she sees Alyx at work.

She's going to watch her shoot for a few minutes, if nobody minds.

Alyx is only peripherally aware that she's not alone. She's too focused on the task at hand. It's almost meditative. Aim, fire, repeat. Nothing exists except her and the target.

When the clip runs out, Alyx finally looks over at the watcher. "Annabelle. Hey."

A few of the marines on board the Spark In Darkness draw or doodle from time to time, so Sari's activity is not entirely unrecognized. The six-eyed tentacle creature is more interested in the content than the technique; it doesn't look much like what it's seen the UNSC forces draw...

It hasn't realized it probably ought to give some warning that it's there, you understand.

Sari doesn't yet realize she has an audience. She's too intent on coloring in Prowl's chestplate. With her free hand she fumbles for the soda bottle she brought in with her. If she's not careful, she just might knock it over.
