"Greetings, Xaldin," Teja says, coming to his table. "Would you speak with me even though I have not one of those?"

"Of course." Xaldin says, pushing a chair out. "I apologise for having been gone so much. Seeking worlds takes time. How have you been?"

Teja sits.

"I can understand that it does," he says. "I have been busy, lucky in some things, unlucky in others, as any living man. I have been very grateful for that apron you gave me last year, also."

"I am very glad." Xaldin nods, fingers tapping just above the table. "Have I missed anything of great import?"

[gorgonfondness]

"I'd find you a professional shrink if I knew what one was," Mia says, far more prominently pregnant than she was the last time Xaldin saw her.

"Good day, Mia." he stands and offers her a chair rather less casually than he did for Teja, hand fluttering a little. He'd like to do the belly-touch but won't without permission.

"Good day, Xaldin," she says, taking the offered seat, her hands on her belly.

"You were right. It's amazing."

He detangles his hand gently so that he can take his glove off and set it back on her belly without the glove in the way. "Yes. I am not surprised. How have you been?"

It's amazing. It's not the first time he's had one hand on a pregnant woman's belly, but it's as amazing this time as it was the first.

Sadly, the green woman cautiously eyeing him while she approaches doesn't seem to be offering either.

"Beg, pardon...but are you one of the..Nobodies?"

"I was." Xaldin says as he turns to her with a closed off expression "I am Somebody now."

"...What's the difference?" Cue a slightly more confused, but still wary face. "I don't ask to offend, just to find answers."

There are still others about, after all.

His hand comes up in a graceful arc and the fingers of his gloved hand rest on his chest "I have a heart."

It's been quite a long time since Bill met Xaldin and Xigbar, but he remembers enough for recognition when he walks by.

(Kind of hard to forget the ones who introduced him to Atlantean).

Giving Xaldin a friendly smile, there's curiosity in his expression as he headtilts a bit at the sign.

"Shrink?"

"Psychologist." Xaldin says quietly "We have a colleague in need."

Bill nods, and has sense enough not to ask who or for what.

"Well, uh, there's a guy here named Malcolm Crowe. He's a doctor an' does that kind of thing."

"Malcolm Crowe." Xaldin repeats as he digs a sticky note out of his pocket and writes it down "Does he have experience with magic?"
