Agent Nielsen really shouldn't be here. He's got too many things to take care of back home, and doesn't entirely trust this realm, in general.

But the encounter he had the other day convinced him that maybe it would be a good idea to stick around, just for a little while. He went back to the Warehouse just long enough to pack a couple of changes

A very tall and very skinny woman happened to pass by his table. Something about this human caught her attention.

"Hello."

Artie murmurs something unintelligible that has the general tone of a greeting. He doesn't look up from his tea.

Rem blinked her one eye and sat down without asking.

"Arthur...," she mumbled staring at the space above his head, and then quickly stopped her self.

That gets his attention. "Ex...cuse me?"

Cy's a busybody. He sees books, and he is going to look to see what they are. Especially in a wacky, weird, strange place like the Bar.

And he can't say he's surprised to see anyone reading up on vampires.

"You're not reading that for fun, are you?"

"Does this look like casual reading to you?" asks Artie, dryly, without looking up.

[says_the_booyah]

"Well, you could be really into vampires. But that usual means novels and comics and magazines." Though some of the pictures are nice in a way. "You investigating the vampire here?"

Artie does look up, briefly. The sight of Cyborg's prostheses make his eyebrows rise a bit, but that's all. He's seen weirder.

"Yeah, yeah, I am. Are you?"

All the books and notes and... stuff have caught Moist's attention. And since it's not a disastrous prospect anymore, he eventually gives in to curiosity and has a closer look. (Without sneaking up on the guy, of course. He knows from Doc that you don't approach someone that deep in concentration from behind.)
"Vampires? That have to do with the stuff here?"

Artie nods. "Are you aware of the situation here?"

"Yeah. One of my friends got bitten. She's... well, I guess she's dealing with it as well as can be expected."
Considering she doesn't remember it and her fiance freaked out about it and she had a little breakdown at Moist. But that's okay. She needed the breakdown, clearly.

"Did she remember anything about the incident?"

Thanks to her friendship with Dixon, Annabelle is very familiar with the look of someone in research mode. She peers interestedly at the contents of the booth.

"Hello, Artie," Annabelle says with a smile.

[doyousmellfudge]

"Hm?" Artie looks up. "Oh. Annabelle. I don't suppose you know anything about the rash of vampire attacks, do you?"

Annabelle's facial expression suggests that this is news to her, and she's not happy about it. Annabelle swears in a veritable mish-mash of tongues and puts one hand over her face.

"This is the first I've heard of it," she says with a sigh.

"Well, now you know," says Artie. "Evidently the security staff here have been lees than prompt in passing on information to everyone else."
