Tommy picks up his card, reads it, and grins. Then he goes off to find the sender. It's been a long time since he's been in, what with business keeping him away, and it's as good a time as any to catch up before Christmas brings its usual dose of chaos. He crouches down and sets his helmet on the floor when he finds them, careful to keep his booted feet off of the blanket.

'Hey, Dot. Long time, no see.' He grins. 'This is Mairi, I take it?'

"BllroooooooooOOH!" Yes, the little turquoise baby who is now giving Tommy the most attentive look ever, because he scans all different kinds of shiny, kind of like dad but more!

"Yes, this is Mairi." Dot grins as the baby starts crawling towards him. "Say hi to Tommy, Mairi"

"Heee!"

If she thinks he's all sorts of shiny now, she should see him in Mainframe. After all, she's too young to comment upon the fact that all of his attempts at energy manipulation end up decidedly purple. Tommy laughs and holds out his gloved hands, encouraging Mairi to keep moving toward him.

'Hey there, Mairi!' He glances up at Dot with a smile. 'Congratulations, by the way! Man, I've been gone for longer than I thought...'

He should probably say something to Bob, if he sees him around.

Yes, congratulations are well within order.

Eee! Hands! Hands mean fingers that can be nommed upon, and thus Mairi does manage to crawl over to grab at the offered hand with a tiny one, only bearing a little smudge of paint on it.

Vexen doesn't necessarily fall into the friend or well-meaning company categories, what with being a heartless, emotionless, self-centred shell of a man. He's what might be considered neutral-meaning company at this point, however ( ... )

"That is wonderful news, I'm gla th-" Dot starts to say before Mairi starts looking up Vexen, really looking at him with a half-terrified, half-confused expression and making the beginning whimpers of what will be a truly loud wail.

Vexen looks down at Mairi with a blank, emotionless expression, one slender eyebrow quirked upwards.

The whimpering sounds like the beginning of a loud noise. Vexen does not enjoy loud noises.

'Is something the matter?'

"She and her father can sense instabilities and errors in data, as well as various forms of magic..." Dot is really, really praying that Mairi isn't reacting to the Replicas, altering a deal after the fact is just bad form for a business woman.

"EnneeeaaaaAAAAAH!" Aaaaand there's the wail folks, complete with a little energy sheild forming up around the baby.

Dani grins as she reads her card, and after a quick visual sweep of the room locates the sender.

"Thanks, Dot!" Dani greets her as she walks up, holding up the card. Looking down at Mairi she can't help commenting, "Wow, she's gotten big since the last time I saw her!"

"Dani!" Watch out girl, you're about to get a hug from Dot. "You've grown too since the last time I saw you."

Don't worry; Dani's prepared. "Yeah, but Enzo's still taller than me," she pretends to complain as she accepts and returns the hug.

"So, how've you been? Everything quiet in Mainframe?"

"Mostly quiet, we've got a lot of small businesses starting up, and always more people moving in...enough to keep me busy."

Mairi wants in on the hug too and starts to float up towards Dani's eyelevel.

"Whoop...but she tends to keep me on my toes..."

K's 'to do' list has been just a bit too long for socializing lately, but he still ducks in now-and-then for a pull of Bar's best bourbons. Which is how he comes upon his card and reads it silently with a smile.

Then makes an equally silent toast, wishing the best for Dot and the family in the new year, before draining the glass and slipping back out the Door.
