'Twas the week before Christmas... and, as usual, Bob had forgotten all about gift shopping until just now.

(At least this year he has an excuse. Keeping track of Mairi keeps him busy.)

If you need Bob, he'll be in that booth in the corner, behind the huge stack of catalogs and the row of energy shakes.

Guppy encourages Alex to go up to Bob, so the toddler approaches bearing a card.

"Messy Kissmas." he announces, thrusting the card at Bob. Inside is a card with a sponge painted Christmas tree on, which reads 'To Bob, Dot and Mairi, from Guppy, Frogspawn and Alex'.

"Well, thank you, Alex!" says Bob with a bright grin. "Merry Christmas to you, too."

"Hey Bob." Guppy says, following on from his son.

"You too." Alex says, reaching down to pick up a fallen beer mat from the floor.

"Your gift isn't... quite ready yet," says Bob, his grin becoming less bright and more nervous.
