The Medic is whistling a positively cheerful tune as he strolls through the door from a BLU base that still has the reek of cordite hanging in the air.

This is seldom, if ever, a good sign.

It's funny how a magic user's instincts work. Mia has never personally encountered cordite before, but when the smell gets to her, something in her mind automatically recognizes that the cordite plus her fire magic probably wouldn't be a good idea unless she has a target.

But she has other things to think about right now, like the little note that Miss Bar has given her, so that matter is filed away for later.

"Herr Medic! It's been a while since I've seen you."

She stands up and goes to meet him, her walking more like waddling now.

"We're both doing well, though I would be doing better if he would find other spots to kick."

She shows him the note from Miss Bar, which simply states that there are exactly 100 days left until Mia's due date.

"It won't be much longer before he's here. In the meantime, I've been awfully busy myself, setting things up to continue without me when I'm on maternity leave and making plans to visit Draco's family for the Christmas holiday."

Cata knows she should be upstairs, but she needed to get out of her room for a while. Besides, sleep has been an... interesting prospect, as a result of the illness.
But it's enough that she's got a book that seems to be about the person who does know Henry.
The whistling is a bit piercing, given her current headache - but all things considered, she can let that slide.

It stops when he gets over towards the fire, if that's any consolation?

"Guten abend, Cata. How do you fare today, hmm?"

"As well as can be expected, I suppose. Still not well, but that's going to take some time."
She marks her place in the book, and closes it; the front marks it as a biography of Anne Boleyn. "I may have to try this again when it doesn't feel disconcertingly familiar."
