With the Decepticons coming and more Autobots to look after, it's been requested that Ratchet start teaching someone besides Lissar about Cybertronian maintenance and repair. While the medic agrees that it's a damned good idea, certain personnel leave something to be desired in the learning department

Ellen's going to head home shortly. She's got her backpack ready and Dogmeat nearby. She's just got one more check to run over her alien weapons before-

Oooh, she knows that paint job. She's met the medic once before. He's just possibly the only genuine space alien she could face just now without freaking out, and so, she waves. "Hello, Ratchet," she calls.

(Dogmeat, under the table, ignores her. He has a rawhide.)

Ratchet looks over, then nods once he has the right file. It's been a while for him.

"Ellen, hello," he says, trooping over. "That garment looks like a uniform. Have you enlisted?"

"I don't think there's an army any more," says Ellen after some thought, "but no. I got kidnapped by aliens and they took all my stuff. This was the only set of clothing I could find."

Ratchet, out of concern, does a quick scan.

"Are you aware that you now have an extra spleen?" He didn't know that was possible. He's taking notes.
