Light is sitting at the bar, his arm still in a sling, eating a packet of barbacue flavour crisps.
He watches the patrons, seeing what kind of people come here, and whether or not they come close to falling down the hole.

Walking over he orders a glass of blood which appears before him. "Good Evening" he greets the young man.

Now he wants to know more about the boy, "I've heard from a friend that you have aspirations of becoming a monster yourself." he takes another sip of his blood.

"Are you going to beat me up as well? Because I can assure you that's nothing more than a rumour."
Reply
"In fact I admire your goals. As misguided as they may be." he adds, "I've seen others try." completely nonchalant.

"Because if you've been talking to Rem, she's nuts. She beat me up for something she thinks I'm going to do in my future. But she's wrong, I'm just a student. My main concern right now is my exams."

"If I were a murderer, Kira, as she says, and I am to do something that causes her great pain, why antagonise me? She could easily be provoking the behaviour that has made her so angry. She needs to learn about the butterfly effect."

"And, I don't see what the problem is if you are a murderer or if you will become one. As long as there is purpose and control behind your actions." Yes Alucard is actually encouraging him.

"If I were Kira, and I was speaking to a friend of a person who just attacked me, do you really think I'd admit it to you?"
He slicks back his hair.
"I'll humour you and answer hypothetically - if I were a murderer, of course there would be purpose and control. I'm the number one student in the country, not a random thug."
Reply
"As I can see. Which is good. I have no respect for thoughtless dogs." he looks at Light and finds that he reminds Alucard of a young him which is perhaps why he seems to like the lad.

Alucard shrugs, "The distress has already befallen her. Whatever happens to you will not change that. For she seems to have also forgotten the Grandfather paradox." (aka. His amusement is more important to him)perhaps unknown to Light this is perhaps more meaningful conversaition then Alucard has had with anyone in bar....facinating.

"How did you become friends?"
