Sameth just wanted to get some dinner and do some reading when he's given a note and a book. At first he tries to protest but is reminded that it will be good for him to meet people

While Mia won't be able to indulge, she can't resist the specials board tonight. And she can still get half off no matter what, right?

"I know what cricket is," she says as she sits down. "It's a sport played on Earth using bats and balls that isn't Quidditch or baseball, though some seem to think a cricket field would be a good makeshift Quidditch pitch according to The Daily Prophet."

We think that's a pretty good definition from someone that lives on an entirely different world.

"I'm not sure what Quidditch is but yes, I'm not from Earth though. What would you like to drink?"

"Oh, you're not from Earth either?" she asks, pleasantly surprised. "I run into so many from the Blue Star that it's kind of cemented me as the strange one, so I guess I expect it now."

Another glance at the specials.

"I won't be able to drink it, but I want to see Mage's Fire. The name is too fitting for me to see it and not be curious about it. As for actually drinking, I'd like some cranberry juice."

"I'm from a place called the Old Kingdom. Actually the drink that's set on fire is the Blue Blazer if you'd rather see that one. Are you a Mage?"

He goes to get her a cranberry juice with a grin.

Lloyd ponders the specials board very carefully before approaching.

Then, with complete confidence: "A cricket is a bug."

Go on, try and tell him he's wrong. He knows he's right.

Sameth just grins at Lloyd,

"Yes, but its also something else."

...Hey.

"No way, I know I got this one right. You're trying to pull my leg!"

"I'm not, there's a game called cricket."

Ryan walks to the bar then looks up realizing he's never seen this man before. "Hello."

"Hello, can I get you anything?"

Sameth's not too out of the ordinary, his clothing is simple, a linen shirt that could fit many eras and he's grinning.

Ryan smiles. "I'll like a beer please."

He settles on a stool.

"Any kind and I'm taking it then that you don't know what cricket is?"

"Hello, Sameth. Have they got you tending bar tonight?"

"Yes, I wasn't really expecting it and some of the names of these drinks are kind of strange. Oh and I met and helped Castiel with the bleachers."

"I think the point of some drink names is to be strange, honestly," she says.

Because really now.

"Oh, did you? Good, I'm sure he appreciated it."

Meg hasn't been out to see the diamond yet.
