There's been a little downtime between cases, and Beckett's finished her most recent - the murder of a wealthy heiress by her driver, of all things, which somehow Castle saw coming a mile away before the rest of them did.
It's a particularly early morning in New York City, but that doesn't stop her from taking a jog through Central Park, her iPod blasting away through the twin plugs in her ears. She checks her watch halfway through her loop around, bringing two fingers to her neck to read her pulse, and then continues on her way home.
However, the door to her apartment unexpectedly leads her into the bar, at which point she shrugs one shoulder and heads upstairs to take a shower.
Let's have a detective then, Milliways, as she comes back down fifteen minutes later, freshly showered and ruffling her damp hair with a few fingers.
