Maybe it's not everyday people try to save a whole world, but Tifa still thinks most people have had their shining moments. Taking her place behind the bar, she ties an apron around her waist.

"Does anybody need a drink?"

Felix raises an eyebrow. "I suspect you'll ask to hear the long version, but in short, I prevented my world from starving to nothingness."

"Definitely heroic," she decrees with a nod. "What can I get for you?"

Pausing, she smiles.

"Not that I mind hearing that long version if you're willing to tell it."

"Masala tea, if you don't mind."

He takes a seat. "It starts a few thousand years before I was born. At that time my world was run by Alchemy, the manipulation of elements. But someone, or several someones, started using Alchemy in ways that would have torn the world apart." He pauses. "That's the phrase the legends use, anyway. I don't know how literal it would have been."

Masala tea only rings a few bells because of all the studying she's done in the big books on drinks kept behind the bar, but immediately she sets to work while she listens to the story.

"Legends wouldn't be legends without a little bit of exaggeration, but any meaning of torn apart is probably one you'd rather avoid, right?"
