It is with pleasure that Methos takes his place behind the bar tonight.
However, once he is confronted with the prospect of writing up the specials board, his slacker gene kicks in rather hard, and he decides, instead of working his own brain to come up with a theme and drinks to match it, to work the ones of the patrons instead. So:

"Some say the world will end in fire."
A tongue of flame comes to dance on the fingertips of her right hand.
"Some say in ice."
When it makes the jump to her left hand, it turns into a snowflake, which she catches in her thumb and forefinger.
"From what I've tasted of desire,
I hold with those who favor fire."
She starts to pull at the fiery snowflake with both hands, forming and shaping it. She's left with a fire flower.
"But if it had to perish twice,

She runs her left fingers over the edges of the flower, slightly frosting them.
"Is also great..."
She offers the flower to him at this point.
"And will suffice."

"But -- I take the offer back. Not just your drinks. Your tab, on me, for a week. In appreciation for your performance."

"Ich weiß nicht, was soll es bedeuten,
Daß ich so traurig bin,
Ein Märchen aus uralten Zeiten,
Das kommt mir nicht aus dem Sinn.
Die Luft ist kühl und es dunkelt,
Und ruhig fließt der Rhein;
Der Gipfel des Berges funkelt,
Im Abendsonnenschein...that's one..."
He taps his chin, briefly, then launches into verse number two.
"Die schönste Jungfrau sitzet
Dort oben wunderbar,
Ihr gold'nes Geschmeide blitzet,
Sie kämmt ihr goldenes Haar,
Sie kämmt es mit goldenem Kamme,
Und singt ein Lied dabei;
Das hat eine wundersame,
Gewalt'ge Melodei." His grin widens. "Should I continue, Mr. Bartender?"

"I think I'll have...hmm...a turtle milkshake, please. And if the kitchen's still open, I wouldn't mind having two soft pretzels...with butter and extra salt; of course those don't fall under the free category."
Yeah, she has just had a baby, and is still set on random eating habits.
She holds a hand out across the Bar. "Coreen Fennel, and this little guy is Evan."

"Adam Pierson. Gimme a moment, and I shall have all of it to you."
