Scene: Milliways, at a corner table.
Characters: River Tam, and Stitch.
Props: one table, one Chinese checkers board, and a lot of marbles.
River seems distracted; every so often, her eyes flick across the room in a quick scan, though it's hard to tell what she's looking for.
She's paying at least enough attention to stop Stitch every time he tries to absentmindedly eat a marble, though.
