The demon's been busy getting used to her new mount -- trying out the paces, as it were. So far, so good. The lock-and-key symbol seems to be keeping him subdued and essentially unconscious, which makes it easy to not only manipulate his body, but also to look through his memories and get an idea of how to act like him

At first sight of Sam, Izzie practically rushes over to him.

"Hey - Dean's been looking for you."

Oh, look. It's the pretty blonde that Sammy likes.

Too bad about what happened to the first one.

"Izzie, hey." He smiles at her, then blinks. "He has?"

"Yeah." Izzie frowns slightly. "You haven't seen him at all?"

A pause, and then she shrugs one shoulder.

"I guess you two keep missing each other, then."

"Not since this morning," Sam tells her.

Or yesterday morning. Or longer.

"I guess so." He looks concerned. "Nothing's wrong, is there?"

[theunsmiling]

Demons call to Michael -- they're something she can't particularly miss -- particularly when they are not Devils.

There's a momentary flicker, and then she smiles, standing and moving at a fast clip toward whatever is wearing Samuel Winchester.

"Sam! Fancy seeing you here."

What could have happened to him in the meantime, how he could have let himself get possessed -- that she doesn't know. Yet.

"Michael, hi."

He grins, evidently amused.

"Yeah? Where else would I be?"

[theunsmiling]

"Anywhere not here?"

Her smile quirks a little at one corner.

"Considering I don't see you half as often as I see other people."

Sam shrugs.

"Maybe I should come by more often."

[jane_becomes]

Few people match Sam's description so Jane comes over to him with a determined step,

"Are you Dean's brother, sir?"

He shakes his head, then looks her over.

"Dean sure gets around." The unstated implication is still clear.

Sam smiles -- just a bit off-kilter.

[jane_becomes]

Jane simply glares at him,

"Apparently he didn't downplay your lack of manners. You have caused him a great amount of trouble and should be finding a way to apologize to him as soon as you can."

He laughs.

"Aren't you the little spitfire." Sam shakes out one of the cigarettes from the pack, then digs in his pocket for a lighter.

"What if I'm not sorry?"

"He does that," Sam admits. "You'd think he was some kind of babysitter, or something."

A beat.

"Hi, Elle."

[mynamesnotmeg]

"Aw, come on, Sparky," he coaxes. "Whatever he said I did, it can't have been that bad, can it?"

[justasaleswoman]

Well, well, well.

Isn't this interesting?

"Hello, darling. Fancy meeting you here.

"Now does Daddy know you're out having fun fun fun in this particular T-bird?"

A quick glance from side to side, then --

"Oh look. It's 'sister dear.'"

Sam's smile is more a baring of his teeth.

"Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. Why? You planning on telling him?"

"That you're at the hamburger stand and not the library?

"Guess that depends."

On a lot of things.

"Seriously, darling, what the hell is this?"

People who way outrank the two of them have plans for that boy.

Sam smiles.

Something about it looks exceedingly unpleasant on his features.

"Call it opportunity. I saw the chance and I took it. You know nothing like this one was going to come along again any time soon."
