Moist is outside, enjoying the weather in a way that can be hard to do when you're your own humidifier. (Much as he's enjoying the break, his conversation with Coreen yesterday has him wondering if it'd really be worth sticking with beyond the three days.)
And all of that excitement? Looks like an origin story waiting to happen, even though it's probably just Cubefall stuff. Still, he's got to ask - and he does, once he's close enough that he doesn't have to shout (and in her line of sight the whole time).

"I think so," Annabelle replies as she gets to her feet. "I just wasn't as prepared as I thought I was."

"Cubefall, or something else?"
If it's the former, Moist kinda knows the feeling. If it's the latter... well, he also kinda knows the feeling.

"Cubefall," Annabelle replies with a smile. "I was offered a change into someone with talents like a friend of mine, and I thought I understood what I was getting into," she adds ruefully.

"I definitely need to get a handle on this before I go back inside..."

Not sneaking, but the tall, handsome man is equally impressed at her display.

There is also something very familiar on his manner of dressing, half-uniform, tactical belt...

"Hello there," Annabelle replies. The outfit is ringing a faint bell somewhere in Annabelle's overloaded brain, but she hasn't recognized Tanya yet.

"I'm not normally that...dramatic," she explains as she peers at her visitor. She then swears as her vision takes a temporary trip into a different portion of the electromagnetic spectrum.

"Oh, good to know... I was afraid I would have to watch my tongue extra carefully to not end receiving a... bolt of plasma?" The man chuckles and nods. "But it was an impressive sight."

"Lightning," Annabelle clarifies. "I suppose it was impressive looking, but not nearly as impressive as if I'd done it on purpose," she adds dryly.

He looks familiar... Does Tanya have any brothers? Annabelle can't remember whether she does or not thanks to her truly heinous headache and confused sensory impressions.

Val's spent the morning zooming about in the hover car mode of her new form reveling in the sheer speed. Her attention is caught by the energy discharge and curious to see if anyone is hurt or in need of help, she alters her course to investigate.

Annabelle gets to her feet and peers curiously at the hover car as it approaches. She can probably be forgiven for looking for a driver instead of realizing that the vehicle is driving itself.

She won't see a driver but when the car gets within 20 meters it will seem to jump into the air when it undergoes the transformation to robot mode. Standing within 10 meters now, the robot says in a synthesized voice which sounds vaguely like Val von Doom's, "Ms. Newfield? Is everything alright?"

"Val?" Annabelle asks, surprised. "I'm not injured, just having trouble adjusting to my Cubefall transformation," she says with a reassuring smile.

Every nova knows what eruption feels like from the inside*, but only those with at least Quantum Authority** know what it feels like from the outside, and only other Inspired have a real basis to understand any comparisons they could make. Suffice it to say, Michael knows at once that somebody must have chosen to become an eximorph for Cubefall.

It takes him a while to figure out the nature of the sensation that accompanied the eruption, as if a bubble of mingled quantum and subquantum energies were popping and being recreated. Once he does, though, he and Jennifer are there at Annabelle's side pretty directly, he flying or nearly so and she bodysliding.

* Well, almost every nova. Michael doesn't actually remember getting the headache of node-formation, but that may just be down to his having been distracted by running for his life from a burning house.

Annabelle feels Michael and Jennifer before she sees them, which would be helpful if she had the faintest idea of what she was sensing actually meant. (Michael makes a big ripple in the Force, so to speak.)

"Hello, Michael, Jennifer," she says as they arrive, still glancing back occasionally at the remains of the demon bunnies. "I hadn't realized I was going to be electrocuting things as a reflex response," she says, chagrined.
