Lorne takes in the changes to the bar with the sort of mild amusement that says he's been in Milliways too long to be surprised.

He is, however, a little surprised when he sits at the bar and is asked if he wants to reconfigure. First, though, he decides to ( check out the options )

Here's some enabling coaxing, in the form of a large, shaggy canine that ambles up alongside Lorne. She wuffs quietly tail wagging.

See the thing is, Lorne likes dogs actually.

"Hey there," he says, reaching out a cautious hand for the dog to sniff. "Bet you'd like me to be a puppy, huh? Give you someone to play with."

The proffered hand gets a brief, obliging touch with a cold, wet nose as the canine's tail continues to wag. Of course she'd like company she could actually speak with.

Jack leans against him, arm around his waist, and says in a mock horror-narrator voice (just go with it): "Choose wisely or choose not at all," and kisses Lorne's cheek.
