When Alyx comes down the stairs, she blinks in surprise at the change in decor. After looking around for a long moment, she shrugs and walks over to the Bar to order breakfast

Ironhide isn't a mech much given to faith, and isn't a follower of the Primus religion, but when Cubefall comes around everyone among the Autobots accepts the day. Whether it's on Earth or here at the Bar. And if it comes right down to it, seeing the bar go out of its way to acknowledge the day for the Autobots' sake puts the old mech in a better mood than just about anything that doesn't involve the syllables 'FA-THOOOOOM', so he's actually feeling pretty congenial when he comes across the bundled-up human on his way out to the crater. "Morning," he says. "And a good Cubefall to you."

It's a testament to how rattled Alyx is that she doesn't even notice the mech addressing her.

"I can't take this, I can't--"

Aw, rivets. It's bad luck to have a sector fault on Cubefall, even if you're a human. With a series of clinking and scraping noises, Ironhide crouches down nearby. "Hey. Hey. You okay in there?"

Alyx lets out a scream and a flail which propels her about two feet backward and knocks her flat on her back.

Having been outside exploring in her new, canine body, Thirteen comes across the woman seating on the grass.

She gives a quiet whine, and a cold, wet nose nudges one of Alyx's hand.

Alyx lets out a startled yelp and looks up so sharply that she almost falls over. She recovers quickly, but for a long moment she just stares at the shaggy dog.

Thirteen goes her best to look friendly, not wanting to scare the woman any more. She lolls her out to one side and her tail wags slightly while she droops her ears.

"Look, I'm friendly."

"Hey there." Alyx tentatively offers a hand to sniff.

Tali doesn't normally care one way or the other about the outdoors, but it's different without her environment suit on. She can smell the plants and feel the breeze. She's even taken off her shoes so she can feel the grass tickle her feet.

When Tali sees someone she recognizes, she dashes over, wanting to show off her new shape. "Alyx! Look what I..." Then she notices that Alyx is Not In A Happy Place. "Oh. What happened?" she asks, dropping to her knees in front of the other woman.

Alyx doesn't bother looking up.

"It's wrong, it's all wrong..."

"Oh, keelah," Tali mutters to herself.

She wishes Shepard were in the bar. She'd know what to do.

Well, maybe she just has to figure out what Shepard would do and do it herself. "What's all wrong?"
