"Ho, Pet." Bonzo is sitting at the Bar, munching on who-knows-what. He notices a bit of...confusion on her face at the redecorated area. "Cubefall. Remember, last year?"

[mandercommander]

Blink. "A male version of you?" Pause. "I don't even think I want to know."

[petraarkanian]

"It could be interesting." Petra cannot help but defend that.

"The whole world has been wishing I were male for long enough." Hint of disgust there? Maybe?

[mandercommander]

Bonzo rolls his eyes. "Just because you were one of about three girls at Battle School does not mean you should have been male." Pause. "Besides, you make 'shoots well for a girl' into a complement."

[petraarkanian]

"Sure, seeing as I can outshoot you at least seven out of ten times."

She doesn't mention some people of wondering if she WAS female. That's information that few people, if any at all ever need to know.

[mandercommander]

Like the IF?

"Me and the rest of Battle School." Pause. "You even got some kills in on Dragon."

[petraarkanian]

"Not even Ender is God." She says flatly. "If ya'll practiced..."

[mandercommander]

"If I hadn't gotten too clever by half..." Or if Ender hadn't pulled that stunt he did...

[petraarkanian]

Petra just grunts unarticuatly at this. No need to belabour any points.

Shift conversation?

"Why did you keep your cubefall powers?"

[mandercommander]

"Enzo encouraged me to keep my Cubefall form." Pause. "Honestly? I didn't plan on keeping them."

[petraarkanian]

Upraised eyebrow. He fell for peer pressure? Not a mark in his favor.

"That's it?"

[mandercommander]

"He promised he'd stop me if I ever used them for anything bad. I made him promise that..." Pause. "...and I think he's capable of doing that if he needed to."

[petraarkanian]

"Enzo?" There is more then a little doubt there. More then a little.

[mandercommander]

"He is a Guardian." In training, he doesn't add. "And I don't know what his keytool would do if it were brought through to our world..." Probably malfunction, knowing his luck. "...but I don't want to be on the receiving end. Besides, even with my powers it's not like I'm God. Or even Obi-Wan Kenobi, for that matter."

[petraarkanian]

"Which is good, because I'd sell you to Fett."

Woops. Slip of a tounge there, no need to mention Fett and her plans.

Though, the thought causes her to cast a speculative eye at the cubefall selection. How nice it would be to wear a diffrent face...

Bonzo does a double take. "What?!?"
