River has donned sweats appropriate for a good work out. Her wound has healed nicely. In the tank top she's wearing, the human bite mark is readily apparent where her neck and shoulder meet.

Having finished stretching, she's ready to begin, eager even. Training is like research, isn't it?

A little maybe?

Richard's dressed much the same. Sweats provide a bit of padding against blows as well.

He smiles a bit, already amused. "Make a fist."

[riversinger]

River does so with both hands, curling her fingers into her palm and rolling her thumb around the outside of them.

"Like this?"

He takes her wrist and lifts her hand up for inspection before nodding.

"Where did you hit the Doctor?"

Amanda is still outside but she is taking a break from her practicing. She notices the other two sparing...or at least something that resembles it. The two are most obviously not evenly matched.

She stands by a tree watching them, not wanting to be rude and interupt them. She has learned that this can lead to injury.

Ryan already knows she's there but he's good at ignoring people.

He makes a few adjustments on River's current stance. "All right, goo- no, move this a bit- there, good."

River notices their observer after a few moments. She holds the stance, but her scent changes to let him know she's gone a bit self-conscious about the whole experiment..

"We have an audience, dear."

Once she notices that she has been noticed she stands up straight and walks a little closer, but only so she doesn't need to shout.

"My appologies, I can leave if I am disturbing you."

While she's waiting for her door to come back, she's trying to find a bit of warmth. The water she was dragged into was freezing, and even if she's fairly sure her leg is burning, the rest of her feels like she got dumped out an airlock without a thoroughly insulated suit. The somewhat bedraggled padawan hobbles to one of the chairs by the fire, dropping into it with a bit of a squelch.

Oh, the glamorous life of a padawan.

"Good heavens, what on earth happened to you?"

River would get up but, aside from being all wobbly kneed and sore from their work out, she's all snuggled up next to Richard and he's warm and no, she's not moving any time soon.

Which means Ryan won't be either. Not that he terribly minds. These two didn't get along all that famously the first time they met.

He's got a big fat 'I told you so' if her ability to control the Force malfunctioned.
