When Jane enters, she is focused on the manuscript pages in front of her and its not until she feels her hair
around her shoulders and a rather unexpected draft.
When she looks down and sees her new outfit, her papers go spilling out of her hands as she tries to make the slit stay shut while not completely losing whatever dignity she has left.

He saunters closer, showing off the bar's interior with a sweep of his arm.
"This is Milliways. This is where I met that woman I told you about! You know, the one you said I made up? I bet she's somewhere in here. Let's see, where's Indiana Jones..."

"I swear I don't usually talk like that! I mean - I don't swear, but - yeah."

As long as Jane does not think about her hair being loose and this horrid outfit and concentrates on this slightly pitiful man, she will be fine.

Tom's eyebrows are raised high in confusion and surprise.

She fears she's flushed and hopes he will mistake it for anger,
"Mister Lefroy, is it the habit of this place to garb its patrons in unusual wear for no apparent reason?"

Then as quickly as she can, she gets herself vertical, clutching her manuscript as protection.

"Sir, hmmm not exactly a sir. But not mortal either," He shrugged, and then noticed some random beads getting tossed his way.
"Ohhhh... is it that time again? Wonderful!"
